Hello and welcome to Preseli Pool League.
We are glad to announce that a THREES competition will be played this year. Please see Cup Draw for Info.
Also thanks to everyone who supported Finals day. It was a long day, but nice to see a good turn out right till the end.
Welcome to the New Website of the Preseli & District Pool League
This years AGM was held at Butchers Eglwyswrw on Monday, 12th of September.
All last years teams have once again entered, with the addition of Lamb B's, Trewern, Bont B's, and Iron Duke. As there is 4 teams joining this year, an extra team will be promoted from the B League, along with Pant y Blaidd and Boncath, the Globe B's will now also be promoted. This will leave 10 teams in each league.
Rule Changes: In Division 1, the league has now voted to play 6 singles and 3 doubles in a match. This was decided at a meeting at Crymych Arms on the 26th of September, where all Division 1 team captains voted. Please note that in doubles. there is a 1 minute rule imposed, and it is down to the referee of that game to commet to players to hurry up their shots, such as after a minute hs passed, to mention to the players they have 10 second to play their shot (example) It is down to the referee how soft they are.
7 Singles will still be played in the Team K/O competition.
Registration forms were returned by most teams at the second meeting in Crymych Arms.
The fixtures have now been placed on the website under the sub-heading 'fixtures' in a Word Document file, but if you have trouble, please email Martin at the globe, and he will send you out another copy via email
Knockout competition forms have been sent out, and have to be returned by the next meeting, the 7th of November.
We will try and keep this website as up to date as possible, so to speed things up, teams are asked to text their results to 07876648459 at the end of the game, or the next day. Resutls and the table can be updated as soon as possibe, so everyone knows where they stand.
Wish you all the best for the new Season
